Blow up the number balloons and then decorate your cake with "100M," because MrBeast has just broken the 100 millionth subscriber mark on YouTube.

Jimmy Donaldson, the creator of the channel, is the fifth person to hit the following benchmark. He follows Cocomelon, T-Series and SET India, as well as the sole account owned by an individual: PewDiePie. "100 million means so much. I've been making videos since I was 11," said Donaldson in an announcement. "This number represents everything I've ever done in my life and I'm extremely grateful to anyone who's ever viewed the video. I'd like to continue doing YouTube until the day I die."

Donaldson has been posting YouTube videos since 2012, and his first video ever uploaded to his main channel, which featured his playing Minecraft. His videos started to take off in 2018 , when he began making content that showed him giving large amounts of money to strangers. Since the time his videos have evolved to tackle shock-inducing challenges, like not eating for 30 days or creating a true life-like Squid Game.

To celebrate this career-defining feat, MrBeast will - of course - release new merch, made exclusive to the Live Shopping feature. He's also planning to release one of his most expensive videos yet on August 4. This is because he's a top subscriber YouTube creator and has the resources to produce the release of some extremely expensive content.
