It doesn't matter if you're writing a blog post, a newspaper article, a short story, a novel, or even a scientific essay. When you write, you want to do your best. No matter your degree of education, or the studies you have, today in our writing workshop, I leave you some quick tips to improve quickly and effectively.
7 tips to improve your writing:
#1. Feedback. Let them read you and comment
Having an audience is complicated, but necessary. When others read what you write, they do it from the outside, with different eyes. When you write, when you spend hours, days in front of that sheet of paper, when you have checked over and over again what you have written, you know every last comma; if there is a mistake you may overlook it. Letting others read you helps you improve , if something makes sense to you, but not to others, maybe you should check it out.

#2. Practice more, worry about theory later
Write, write, write. Sure you know a lot of people who say they want to write a novel, but surely you know a lot less who have. Anyone can speak, but you need to. Write every time you have a gap, don't worry about grammar, spelling or structure, write and you're done. You will check later. If you start to think about it while writing, you won't, writing is a creative process, you need to have a clear mind for writing to flow freely.
#3. Formats, genres and structures. Experiment.
Don't limit yourself to one type of literature. Write fiction and non-fiction. Write a story, like in a journal, or write something suspenseful, ending each chapter with a cliffhanger. Write a formal essay, and then add some humor to it. Write very long sentences, with small clarifications inside. Experiment and enjoy, you may find yourself comfortable with things you would never have imagined .
#4. Read a lot (a lot)
Reading is as important as experimenting; the more you read, the more types of writing you will experience. The more stories you read, the more stories you will be able to imagine and create. Don't be afraid to try new things. You may think you don't like science fiction , but have you read anything? And it goes without saying, that the more you read, the more interesting you will be .
#5. Reality surpasses fiction
What do you intend to write if you spend your life locked in a bubble? Go out and explore the world around you , travel and live new experiences, say yes, when you said no before. The more experiences you have, the more topics you will have to write about. Even the most unpleasant of experiences can turn into a funny story or a good blog post.
# 6. Observe what you have around
When you go out, pay attention to your surroundings . Look at the landscape, the streets, the terraces, the people passing by, going and coming, their conversations, their faces, the emotions they reflect ... you will see how easy it can be to build a story for each one. Look at the small details, details are important when writing, they will make your story something alive.
# 7. Find your space
I find it difficult to write if you can not concentrate . Find a suitable place and write there. Every time you enter that place; writes. Create a habit, don't read, don't chat, don't pay your bills right now, just write. If you need silence, close the windows and the door, if you need sound, people coming and going, find a nice coffee shop and ghostwriting services there, maybe a library will serve you, maybe an office. Find a good place and make it yours.
