This guide contains the instructions to create a User Roadrunner mail account, also to login into Roadrunner Email Sign In account, and its basic configurations. Creating a Roadrunner user account- 

Roadrunner email is a subaccount offered by TWC. So you can’t create an independent roadrunner email account. However, you can use the @rr.com domain while creating your subaccount under the TWC mail service. 

But if you don’t have a TWC account, you should create a master account under the Spectrum email service. After creating your master account, follow the given instruction to create your roadrunner email subaccount- 

 

·        First, go to the Spectrum Webmail login page.

·        Then, log in to your TWC master account.

·        Now, open the “TWC Subscriber Self Care” tab.

·        Next, open the “User management” page.

·        Select the “Create New Sub User” option to register under the roadrunner email user account. 

·        Moving further, create your new Sub User ID, also enter your First Name and  Last Name in the respective input fields.

·        Enter the password to create a new sub-account. 

·        Retype the password to confirm the user account password. 

·        Lastly, hit the “Create New Sub User” button to complete the registration. 

 

Roadrunner Email Sign In-

You can sign in to roadrunner email accounts by heading on the Spectrum Webpage. Unfortunately, there is no independent webpage to sign in to the roadrunner email account. Because TWC had merged with Spectrum, all the TWC mail accounts were linked to Charter email service or Spectrum mail service. However, this merger has not caused any of the cancellations to its mail accounts. Thus, all the accounts are still accessible under the Spectrum Webmail. 

You can follow the given instructions to login into their roadrunner email account-

·        Go to the Spectrum Webpage.

·        Now, select the “My Account” option from the upper tab of the webpage.

·        After that, click on the “Sign in” option.

·        Next, enter the user roadrunner email Id and password. 

·        Check the Captcha Box. 

·        Then again, hit the “Sign in” option to login into your user account. 

 

Troubleshooting the common issues with Roadrunner Email account-

Here is the solution to fix some of the common problems with the email account- 

Forgot Password or Username- 

Follow the instruction given below to reset the user account password.

 

·        First, browse the https://www.spectrum.com/.

·        After that, select the option “My Account,” my account option is available in the upper tab of the webpage. 

·        Next, click on the “Sign In” button to open the login page. 

·        Then, follow the Forgot username and password? link.

·        Select any one option between Contact Info and Account Info to change the password.

 

 Contact Info - 

·       Enter your email address or Phone number. 

·       Tick the Captcha box and hit Next to receive the verification code on the registered number. 

                                        

Account Info-

·       Enter your account number and security code.

·       Complete the Captcha process and click on Next to get the verification code on the registered phone number or email account. 

·       Enter the received verification code, then on the next page, enter the username of the roadrunner email account.

·       Further, if you are directed to a confirmation message and user Id, follow the reset link on the page to reset the password. Otherwise, repeat the whole process. 

·       Finally, create a new password, and also don’t forget to save the changes. 

Server not responding- 

Sometimes users face this kind of error because of bad internet connectivity. So, if your internet connection is breaking or providing a low-speed connection, your device may have issues while processing the connection request to the server.

So you can try the solutions given below to fix this error-

 

·       Try reconnecting your device over the internet to get new and fresh IP.

·       You can also try changing the network connection to get rid of the error.

·       Also, try restarting your device to get a new IP address.

 

The account is not accessible- 

 

You can encounter this issue either because of bad internet connectivity, incorrect credentials, or an incompatible browser. To get rid of these technical errors, try the methods written below-

·       Resetting your account credentials would help you to get rid of this issue.

·       Also, reconnecting your device to a new network connection can help. 

·       Use a different web browser rather than your regular one because sometimes javascript can cause these issues.

 

Unable to send and receive emails- 

 

If you cannot access or send the email, this could be due to incorrect server settings. However, you can reconfigure the account to tackle the issues. 

To set your account service type with IMAP, select the bellow written settings and then save the changes-

1.     Incoming Server: mail.twc.com

2.     Incoming mail server port: 143

3.     Select the Security Type: SSL/TLS

4.     Outgoing Server: mail.twc.com

5.     Outgoing Mail Server Port:587

6.     Security Type: None

7.     Insecure Port: None

For the POP account service type, use these settings and save the changes-

1.     Incoming mail server = mail.twc.com

2.     Incoming server port type = POP3, and the port number is 995.

3.     Security type: None

4.     The outgoing mail server (SMTP) is mail.twc.com

5.     The outgoing server port is 587.

6.     Again choose security Type: None.    

 

This method will probably resolve the issues with your account, but if any of these issues continue to persist, consider reaching out to a mail expert for further solutions.
