  1. Go to the folder containing your QuickBooks files.
  2. Search for files with the identical name as the data file but with extensions .tlg and .nd.
  3. Right-click on the file and select Rename.
  4. Add ‘.old’ at the end of the file name.
  5. Do this for the other file, too and save it.
  6. Now, type ‘Database’ in the search panel and open QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
  7. Click on the Scan Folders
  8. Tap Browseand select the files has your QuickBooks files.
  9. Click Okto start.

Retry opening your company file in QuickBooks and if the issue persists, try the next method.

Solution 2- Update QuickBooks Desktop
