Widgets have been added to the redesigned home screen: iPadOS 15 includes a significantly more customizable home screen that provides for widget placement flexibility. This essentially means that the widgets can be placed wherever on the screen. Widgets could previously only be displayed in the Today View sidebar.

App Library: From iOS to iPadOS 15, Apple is bringing its App Library. With this, you'll be able to keep your home screen less cluttered by storing all of your infrequently used apps in the App Library, which is similar to Android's app drawer. On iPadOS, the App Library will be located inside the dock.

Multitasking: The company has added new icons to switch into split-view mode to boost multitasking. It has also added a shelf tool to iPadOS, which will make multitasking much easier.

QuickNote: Users will be able to attach notes to webpages and other sections of iPadOS using the QuickNote feature. This will make it easy for users to return to their notes at any time.

Translate: The Translate app will be available on iOS 15 as well. Users will be able to translate anything from anywhere using the app. Auto translate and live translation will be included in the standalone app.

New notification controls: New notification controls will be included in iPadOS 15, allowing users to customise notification settings based on current activities (working, sleeping, exercising).

Privacy, SharePlay, and a FaceTime link are among the other features. With iOS 15, all of the other features were announced.
