With your cactus ready make a furnace with eight Cobblestone, Blackstone or Cobbled Deepslate. Place your Cactus blocks into the furnace with any fuel source, though Coal, Lava and Kelp Blocks are among the most efficient and each Cactus block yields one green Dye.



How to make lime-green dye in Minecraft



To make lime green dye in Minecraft, head to the ocean for an adventure. Smelting is needed as is normal green dye, but Sea Pickles are the main ingredient that you require this time. Sea Pickles can be found in groups of up to four in the warm ocean biome, on top of Coral blocks. They are also available in a decorative Desert Village pot. You only require one to begin farming these. To obtain more Sea Pickles, simply place one under water and then sprinkle bonemeal on it.



Once you have your Sea Pickles, place them in a furnace with any fuel source. One Sea Pickle will produce one Lime Green dye.



Green dyes are used in Minecraft



To dye blocks wool Terracotta, and concrete can all be placed on a Crafting Table with only one dye to change their colors. Only one item can be dyed with Wool. However, you can dye eight Terracotta using just one dye. Concrete Powder must be dyed with the right dye at the start of the process of making. It cannot be altered later. Making candles: Minecraft Candles were added to the game in 2021 as part of the Caves and Cliffs update. After making a candle with one Honeycomb and one String, put the undyed candle back into a grid of crafting using one colour dye to alter its appearance. You can put eight Glass Panes or Glass Blocks on a table around one dye to create stained glass windows. You can also use it for smoke and other cool effects.



You can dye leather armour using green or other dyes. Even if you're not wearing it, placing armour with different colours on stands around your body is a great decorating idea. Simply place the item of clothing in a Crafting table with one piece of dye to dye Java Edition armour. A complete set of armour requires four dyes. It's a lot more fun in Bedrock Edition, however. Make a cauldron of water using the dye items on it, then right click on the cauldron again with the leather armour or horse armour in your primary hand. Three items can be dyed with one cauldron.
