Donald Trump furiously accused Hillary Clinton's campaign of treason. A special counsel claimed that her team tried to snoop on his White House servers to discover ties to Russia in order to defame the president.

On Saturday, the former president unleashed a rageful broadside, claiming that Team Clinton's behavior had once merited execution after Special Counsel John Durham filed a court filing outlining the alleged spying campaign. Fox News first reported the story earlier in the day.

Trump declared: "The latest pleading by Special Counsel (John Durham) proves indisputable evidence that my campaign was spied upon by operatives who paid Hillary Clinton's campaign in an attempt to establish a completely fabricated connection to Russia.

"This is a scandal of a greater scope and magnitude than Watergate, and all those involved in or who knew about the scandal should be prosecuted."

Durham's reports in which she accused Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign of paying an IT company to mine data' from servers that were at Trump Tower, and later the White House.

Special Counsel John Durham filed a statement in which he claimed that the aim was to discredit Trump and connect him to Russia who was accused in 2016 of involvement in the U.S. Presidential Election.

William Barr appointed Durham to be the Special Counsel of the United States Department of Justice in October 2020, while Trump was president. He continues to investigate the matter, which is sure to upset Trump's supporters.

Durham filed charges against Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign for transferring money to an IT company to mine information from servers at Trump Tower and later the White House.
