Unusual lottery in Mexico. The winner won the villa "El Chapo"

The Mexican government has organized a lottery to win the house of detained drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. The identity of the winner has not been revealed.

A house in Culiacan in the northwestern state of Sinaloa was among 20 seized properties.

The country's authorities provided the winning lottery number, but the identity of the new owner of the estate was not revealed. Guzman escaped from the building during a police manhunt in 2014 but was captured six days later. A year later, Guzman was sent to a maximum security prison but escaped from prison. The cartel boss was caught again in 2016 and sent to the United States, where he is serving a life sentence.

The value of the "El Chapo" property is estimated at PLN 184,000. dollars. You could also win the mansion of Juarez Cartel leader Amado Carrillo Fuentes in the lottery. A property in the nation's capital can be worth as much as $3.8 million.

'El Chapo' wife arrested in US

The aim of the lottery was to turn "troublesome real estate with high maintenance costs" into a "measurable benefit for society", the authorities explained.

The money collected during the lottery will be allocated to athletes who participated in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo. How Much Money Was Seized From El Chapo?

The story of a mob boss who is not worried about losing $66 million in one night

60 million in one night can be lost if the player is successful. Mr. Lop earns a lot because he is a shareholder in the world drug market. He has a reputation as "the other El Chapo", but unlike him, he has not been arrested. Mr. Lop is good with the police.

The global drug market is a branch of the economy that brings in billions of dollars to those directly involved. Each region of the world has its specialties, of course not despising supplementing the offer with more niche products. Let's take a look at this phenomenon and its latest hero.

The world at the finish line

2019 brought news in the form of the dismantling of the El Chapo Guzman cartel and it would seem that the global drug market would be weakened in this way. However, players in this market have come to the conclusion that while some violence is necessary in running this type of business, it can be organized more carefully and run more effectively. The market is huge and absorbent.

In the United States alone, in 2017, the number of drug addicts was estimated at 12.8 million. The new awareness of the product means that the number of addicts over the age of 54 is growing. Social needs are increasing in modern countries, open to civil liberties and at the same time taking care of the addiction treatment system (eg in Scandinavian countries), but also in conservative countries, such as Iran, where drug possession is punishable by the strictest penalties.

An intelligent businessman will draw conclusions from the stories of people like El Chapo and arrange his story much more favorably.

Asian non-El Chapo

Mr. Tse Chi Lop, a Chinese-born Canadian citizen, has built up an Asian drug syndicate in just the last few years. The organization is already very rich, well-organized, and less violent than the South American cartels. "Sam Gor" (aka The Company) is a well-functioning network formed by an alliance of five Asian triads that deal in smuggling, among others, methamphetamine and heroin. The creation of this structure was a natural consequence of a situation that only 3-4 years ago the media described as a threat to public safety.

In 2015, there were 165,000 drug crimes in China. 194,000 suspects were arrested and over 100 tons of drugs were seized. China's National Drug Control Commission has warned that drug crimes are becoming more violent. The commission's report reported 2.3 million drug addicts in China. For a population of 1.4 billion, that's not much, even if government statistics are distorted. Otherworld reports show that drug consumers are often located very far outside of China - so it is enough to organize production and transport well in order to achieve significant profits without changing consumption in China.
