Dual screen laptops are the best choice for gamers and seasoned businessmen. Its dual display allows you to use the secondary display as an additional monitor, which means you can multi-task and write notes. Dual-screen features also let you drag applications from the secondary screen to the main one, and they are perfect for those who like to stream video and play games. Dual screen laptops are ideal for gamers and design professionals who want to work on both screens at the same time.

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX581

The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is a unique dual screen laptop with a price tag to match. The company calls the laptop "the laptop of the future." But, it doesn't come without its quirks. As a result, it is important to consider buying an extended warranty to cover any potential problems. The price of the ZenBook Pro Duo may seem low, but it's not the only factor to consider.

The Asus ZenBook has powerful components, including a GeForce RTX 2060 graphics chip and a 512GB SSD. But even at its base configuration, the laptop does not produce excessive heat. Besides, it can't handle the most demanding productivity applications and won't support 4K gaming. However, it does come with a webcam and microphone array for Windows Hello.

The ZenBook Pro Duo performs well when playing games, even at a lower resolution. When gaming, the laptop produces 60 FPS, which is more than acceptable. Its battery is 71 Wh, which is average for high performance laptops. Asus also included an SD-card slot, but this isn't a must-have. But, if you're not planning to use the laptop for gaming, the ZenBook Pro Duo is the right laptop for you.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

We were impressed by the performance of the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon dual screen notebook. Its 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and integrated graphics make it one of the best laptops for multitasking. We were able to run a Zoom call over Spotify while simultaneously running heaps of Chrome tabs. The laptop also features Intel's latest Core i7-1165G7 processor, which delivers the best performance for its size.

It weighs just over three pounds and has two screens. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is made from a combination of carbon fiber and magnesium, and it measures 12.4 x 8.7 x 0.6 inches. Its dimensions are similar to the Dell Latitude 9420 dual screen laptop, but it weighs a few pounds more. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is still among the most powerful laptops on the market, but it's now more powerful and has more features.

Another great feature is the built-in 360-degree microphones. These work very well with digital assistants, and are an essential feature when it comes to conference calls. The webcam on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is a middling 720p unit. The camera can also be configured with Windows Hello facial recognition capabilities. As a bonus, the keyboard retains the renowned TrackPoint design.

Intel Twin River

The Twin River is a dual screen laptop with two 1920 x 1280 displays. It has the ability to function in either laptop or tent mode. A thin Bluetooth keyboard and a digital trackpad complete the package. The prototype also showed custom software. A screenshot of Sony Vegas Pro, a multimedia editor, showed how the laptop could use the second screen to show more rows of data. Its patented software would let it show a video stream on both screens. It could also show a timeline on both displays.

The Twin Rivers has an unorthodox design. It has a fabric casing that makes it feel like a book. Its screens will adjust to mimic the shape of a book when held in portrait orientation. The laptop is also light enough to be carried in one hand or to be folded with the keyboard still in place. Moreover, it supports Bluetooth keyboard accessories. It isn't the thinnest laptop, but the new design may help the company cut weight.

The Twin River is powered by a quad-core Intel U-Series processor. It features two 12.3-inch screens. The screens are flexible, so they can be positioned in any direction. The laptop is compatible with both Type-A and Type-C notebooks. While the twin-screen design seems like a great innovation, there's still much work to do. Until it hits the market, more research is needed to determine whether it would be worth it.
