Are you looking to easily run Kali Linux using VirtualBox? Well, look no further! With just a few simple steps, you'll be able to effortlessly run Kali Linux on your VirtualBox in no time. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned user, this guide will provide you with all the information you need to get started. Along the way, we'll also discuss some of the best Discord bots for setting up a virtual machine (VM) for Kali Linux, so you can get the most out of your setup.

Download VirtualBox

If you’re looking to install Kali Linux on your computer, the first step is downloading the right version of VirtualBox. VirtualBox is a free and open source software that allows you to run multiple operating systems at the same time. It’s great for testing applications or running programs in a separate environment from your regular operating system. GEEKrar provides the best version of VirtualBox for running Kali Linux.

Once you’ve downloaded VirtualBox, you’ll need to create a new virtual machine (VM) before you can install Kali Linux. To do this, you’ll need to allocate resources to your VM and configure the settings. To ensure a smooth installation, it’s important to give your VM enough resources to run Kali Linux without lag. This can be done by adjusting the amount of RAM and CPU cores you allocate to your VM.

After you’ve set up your VM, it’s time to install Kali Linux. You can find the Kali ISO file online or if you’re part of the Best Discord Bots community, you can download the vm kali linux ISO file directly from the server. After you have the ISO file, all you have to do is start your VM and follow the instructions on the screen to install Kali Linux.

That’s it! With these easy steps, you should have no problem running Kali Linux on VirtualBox.

Create a New VM

Creating a new virtual machine is the first step in installing Kali Linux on VirtualBox. To do so, launch VirtualBox and click ‘New’ in the top left corner. You’ll be prompted to enter a name for the VM, as well as select an operating system type and version. For our purposes, we will be selecting ‘Linux’ as the type and ‘Kali Linux 64-bit’ as the version. After entering a name and making your selections, click ‘Create’.

Next, you’ll be asked to allocate a certain amount of RAM to the VM. We recommend allocating at least 4GB of RAM, but if your computer can handle it, you can go up to 8GB. To help you decide how much RAM to allocate, GEEKrar offers a great RAM calculator tool that can help you figure out what’s best for your system.

Once you have allocated the RAM, it’s time to configure the VM settings. Under the ‘Display’ tab, set the Video Memory to 128MB and enable 2D and 3D acceleration. Under the ‘Storage’ tab, select the ISO file of Kali Linux that you downloaded earlier and then set it as the primary boot device. Lastly, under the ‘Network’ tab, select ‘NAT’ for the Adapter 1 connection type.

Now that you’ve created your VM and configured its settings, you’re ready to start it up and install Kali Linux. To do this, simply click ‘Start’ in the top left corner of VirtualBox and follow the on-screen instructions. With your new Kali Linux setup, you can start exploring the features and tools included in the distribution, such as the Best Discord Bots or even practice your ethical hacking skills.

Allocate Resources

When you create a new VM, you need to allocate resources. This includes assigning the amount of RAM and the number of CPUs the VM will use. Depending on your system, you may have different amounts of RAM available, so make sure you pick an amount that works best for your system. If you're running a more complex Kali Linux installation, such as GEEKrar, you may need to assign more RAM to the VM. You should also assign at least one CPU to the VM Kali Linux instance. Once you've allocated the resources, click the 'Create' button to create your virtual machine.
