Elon Musk gets threatened by the hacking group Anonymous
4 min read

Elon Musk has been the latest target of Anonymous, a well-known hacker group. Anonymous has issued a warning shot to Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a new video highlighting his wrongdoings, accusing him of damaging the lives of cryptocurrency investors with his tweets.

Anonymous has chastised Musk for his recent moves in the bitcoin market in a video that has gone viral on the internet. Musk's latest tweets, according to the video, demonstrate a clear contempt for the regular working person, and his "public temper tantrums" have liquidated the hopes of hardworking people.

"Reading from the comments on your Twitter posts, it seems that the games you have played with the crypto market have destroyed lives. Millions of retail investors were really counting on their crypto gains to improve their lives," In the video, Anonymous says.

It also cites many recent actions by Tesla's CEO, alleging that the decisions were taken just for the company's profit, with no regard for the future of bitcoin in general.

The most recent example is Tesla's decision to stop accepting Bitcoin payments for its electric vehicles. According to Anonymous, it is widely assumed that Tesla was pushed to reject this payment option.

It claims that the majority of the company's revenue comes from green carbon tax credits granted by the governments of the states in which it operates. It claims that the use of Bitcoin was restricted in order to maintain the government's revenue stream.

According to Anonymous, Musk was aware of the energy consumption associated with Bitcoin mining before using it as a justification for Tesla's refusal to accept Bitcoin payments.

It further claims that Musk acted oblivious to this in an "attempt to play both sides of the fence" when the government's supply of green credit money was threatened.

Elon Musk's alleged unethical business practises

Anonymous' allegations were not restricted to Bitcoin. According to the hacker group, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has had one of the "most favourable reputations of anyone in the billionaire class" for several years by leveraging on the public's enthusiasm for electric vehicles and space exploration. However, this "carefully created public image" is now being exposed.

The video accuses him of being "nothing more than another narcissistic rich dude," claiming that his desire to save the world stems from a superiority and saviour complex rather than genuine concern for humankind.

Anonymous uses the example of several Tesla employee complaints about horrible working conditions in recent years to illustrate this point. It also highlights the young children who work in lithium mines to produce lithium, which is a key component of lithium-ion batteries, which are used in electric cars and several other electronic devices.

Musk is "not the only show in town," according to Anonymous, and his competition is expanding by the day. The video warns the Tesla CEO that "you may think you are the smartest person in the room, but now you have met your match," blaming him for social media trolling and memes that have affected the lives of many others.

Musk appears to have taken notice of the warning video. Since the video's release, the Tesla CEO has tweeted, "Don't kill what you hate, save what you love," and changed his Twitter profile photo to a blacked-out version. However, it's possible that the updates have nothing to do with the Anonymous video.
