Nobody can make you happy until you are satisfied with yourself; first, it's fascinating that the way we live and how we see ourselves can bring peace and happiness to our lives.

The choices we make in our daily lives are not related to happiness or health but the effects on our bodies mentally and physically.

Happiness is not a personality trait. It's an emotion of showing pleasure as a part of the human experience; it's essential for humans to be happy to lead a peaceful and healthy life.

Being happy doesn't mean you need to be surrounded by a group of people or partying around with a bunch of friends; it’s also mean being satisfied in your own space.

Spending time with yourself will make you understand yourself with a better vision; you will learn about your strengths, weaknesses, likes, and dislikes. You will enjoy your company without seeking others' opinions or help.

Here are few suggestions on how to be happy in your personal space:

·        Avoid comparing yourself to others

Comparisons drive our behavior; you can be anything, but you can't be everything; it could be about anything like genetics, features, qualities, or relationship, but try to avoid comparing your life to anyone else’s. Comparison is a recipe for unhappiness. It can drive you towards anxiety or depression, so love yourself the way you are and flex your imperfections to the world.

One can change themself for a better vision of themselves, but that doesn't mean you should stop loving yourself the way you are. Remember, you don’t know if someone with many friends and social life is happy.

·        Step Back From Social Media

Social media helps to connect with people worldwide, but if scrolling through your feeds makes you feel stressed and depressed, it's compulsory to take a break from social media. Social media is no real life; whatever you see is not the whole truth or reality. It's just the layering of filters and more filters. People who keep posting happy pictures or stories are truly happy or just giving the impression that they are having a good time. Either way, it’s wrong to assume that you are less pretty or unsuccessful while watching others on Instagram so, take a deep breath and take a break yourself from social media. If that makes a difference, try giving yourself a daily limit of using social media for 30 to 35 minutes and stick to it.

·        Take Yourself on a Date

It may sound cliché, but self-dates are a powerful tool for learning how to be happy alone; it empowers you to be independent and less judgmental.

Do not know what to do? Imagine you’re trying to impress your actual date and having a good time. Where would Do you take them? What things do you want to experience with them?  Similarly, take yourself on a solo date. The the solo date can be everything or anything like checking a new café, watching a movie, or going shopping; whatever that cheers you up and you love doing, in the beginning, it might feel overwhelming, but it will benefit you in several ways:

·        It makes you do things out of your comfort zone

·        Increase your confidence and self-esteem

·        It makes you understand yourself in a more profound way

·        It makes you emotionally independent.

Once you’re comfortable with the the idea of solo dates, going out alone won't seem so unusual, and maybe you love that way more.

·        Exercise

Exercise is a way to lift your mood and sharpen your self-efficacy so that you can achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Endorphins which are among the body, tend to circulate in higher numbers during exercise. In the increased endorphin level, the brain enjoys a higher level of endocannabinoids, neurotransmitters, and other feel-good chemicals.

Secondly, the slight increase in temperature that occurs during exercise reduces muscle tension. J. Carson Smith, a KINESIOLOGY professor at the University of Maryland, states that "after exercise, the nervous system is quiet, and your muscles are more relaxed, and that sends information to your brain that you feel like a good feeling."

Your mood depends on internal body systems, and exercise is the key to sustainable peace and calm disposition; it makes you feel better about your body and yourself and makes you believe that you can succeed in your life.

·        Spend Time With Nature

Various studies prove that spending time around green surfaces makes the body calm and relaxed, lowers the incidence of depression and anxiety, and makes us happy and healthier.

Several studies prove that living around Nature can decrease heart disease rates and diabetes and boost an individual's immune system.

·        Volunteer

Volunteering can be beneficial for others who need help, but on the other hand its benefits you the more it protects your mental health and makes you happy. There are several ways by book writer to volunteer your time in others' service; it makes you feel good about yourself and help you connect with others in your personal space. Look around yourself; if someone needs your help, be the first one to show your act of kindness, don't hesitate to help others but make sure whatever you are doing fits for them.

·        Be Grateful

Gratitude is an act of grateful appreciation that one receives; gratitude strongly connects to greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive vibes, enjoy life, improve their health, and build strong relationships.

People feel and show gratitude in different ways by cherishing past experiences, being grateful for everything they hold in their life, and being optimistic for coming endeavors.

Conclusion

Happiness is an emotion that is essential for physical and mental health. Small things and efforts can bring a big difference in your life. If you are happy and satisfied, then only you can look for others and make them happy. Do little things you love and surround yourself with peace and calm.
