  • Next, navigate to the folder where you have saved your company files.
  • Go to the “product information” page and then open “no company open window.”
  • Search for the .TLG file in your company file folder. It will have the same name as your company file.
  • Then you need to right click on it and then select the “show file extensions” option from there.
  • After this, you will simply have to copy the corresponding .TLG file of your company file. Then paste it to the “QBTest” folder you made on the desktop.
  • Open the folder of “QuickbooksAutoDataRecovery” which will be in the same location as the company file.
  • Then go to the “.QBW.adr” file and then paste it in the “QBTest Folder.”
  • By doing this, you will have a .QBW.adr as well as .TLG file in the QBTest Folder.
  • Go to this folder and right-click on the “.QBW.adr” file and then select the “rename” option from the list.
  • Next, you just have to delete the “.adr” extension from the end of the file name.
  • Now open your Quickbooks and then the company file you just saved on the desktop.
