mac proxy

To change proxy settings on a Mac, you can follow these steps:
Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner and open System Preferences.

  Select the Network panel icon.

Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to configure and click Advanced in the bottom right corner.

Click on the Proxies button and then select a protocol.

Under Web Proxy Server, input your proxy details, including the server address, port number, and any required username and password

If you want to set up a proxy on OS X Terminal permanently, you can add the following line to your ~/.bash_profile file for bash or ~/.zshrc for zsh:

mac proxy

To globally set an HTTP proxy system-wide on MacOS, you can use the following commands:

mac proxy

Remember that these settings will only affect command-line programs and not all internet traffic
