Kelonio: New Library for Performance testing in Node.js presented

First check, then optimize: This also applies to the Performance of the Node.js-applications. With Kelonio a new Library is now available, which can be achieved with the known Test Frameworks combine./p>

Kelonio is a new Testing Library for Node.js the Performance of applications. The Library does not want to reinvent the wheel, as the GitHub page of the project is declared. In this respect, it is not a stand-alone Framework. As a Library, especially pre-defined reporter for Mocha, Jest, and Karma encompasses, but can also be used on the console, through scripts, and together with Webpack or Browserify in the Browser. Also some pre-defined test functions and the Performance measure are included in the Library.

The project is still young. The first release on GitHub was held in November of 2019, currently in Version 0.3.0 is available. Kelonio is semantically versioned, i.e. it has not reached any Major Version and is still in active development. documentation but is already available as some examples. The Library is used with the Tests from the framework, and thus integrated in it, without that new Tests must be written. Other Tools for Performance testing in Node.js that Kelonio is compared to the GitHub page, require a different approach. Here Kelonio should also go hand-in-hand with less effort. In addition, Kelonio is written in TypeScript, so that, also for the use of appropriate Typings are available.

Kelonio can about npm based.
