Apple has given two of its professional software products a 90-day trial period. This offer applies to Final Cut Pro X video editing software and Logic Pro X music production suite. This extended trial period will be offered for a limited period.
The coronavirus pandemic has left many users of these software products at home and unable to attend school or work. Therefore, such people do not have the opportunity to access professional tools that cost hundreds of dollars, and for many, this is a big problem.

"We hope customers who are at home looking for something new can try out these free trials," Apple said in a statement.
Previously, a 30-day free trial was already available for Final Cut Pro X. As for Logic Pro X, a trial version of this software has not previously been offered. The video editor is currently available for a 90-day trial, and Logic Pro X will be able to do so "in the coming days." However, customers who have already downloaded the 30-day free trial version of the video editing software can take advantage of an extended trial period.
Apple does not mention when this 90-day trial offer will end, but it does note that both programs will be upgraded to 30-day trial periods in the future. For those who want to buy programs after the test period,

Today, Apple officially announced the release of professional music software Logic Pro X version 10.5. It adds the long-awaited Live Loops feature previously available in GarageBand for iPhone and iPad, a wholly redesigned sampling process, new rhythm creation tools, and other new features.
Live Loops allows users to organize loops, samples, and recordings into a new musical grid. From there, tracks can be refined using all the professional features available in Logic Pro X. Remix FX extends the power of Live Loops with a set of electronic effects that can be applied in real-time to individual tracks or the entire composition.
The free companion app Logic Remote allows users to connect an iPhone or iPad to their Mac to control Logic Pro X instruments. Logic Remote also received a significant update today to enable the control of Live Loops. The app is available for free on the App Store.
Logic Pro X includes performance improvements, with over 2,500 new loops for various instruments and genres. The company calls Logic Pro 10.5 the most significant software update in its history. For a complete list of changes, visit Apple.com.
