'Minecraft Dungeons' is Delayed Until May 26th

Minecraft Dungeons is currently on the way to consoles and PC although it's a little longer than we expected. Mojang confirms that the Minecraft Dungeon-Crawler spin-off will be released on the 26th of May on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and, as was revealed in last week's surprise Direct, Nintendo Switch.



The studio owned by Microsoft was originally planning to launch Minecraft Dungeons in April, but due to coronavirus-related concerns "this was not possible anymore. We wanted to ensure the health and safety of our teams as well as provide our players the best experience possible.

You'll be able team up with three other players in both online and local co-op modes. The missions use a blend of fixed and procedurally generated elements to ensure that you are playing with freshness every time you play, while making sure the narrative and goals stay unchanged.



Two versions of Minecraft Dungeons will be available. The $20 standard edition will be available in two variations. FREDDY'S BLOG A $30 hero edition will include cosmetic items as well as access to DLC packs.
