It took a while, but Minecraft Earth is finally available on Microsoft's own soil. The US has released an early access version for iOS and Android of the augmented reality game Minecraft Earth. Although it's not the full-fledged version Microsoft and Mojang have been hyping for months, it will let you create dioramas, collaborate with your friends on projects and fight mobs on adventures.
The US is the tenth country to be granted early access. A large portion of the world still in the dark and the developers have said that more support will be coming in the coming weeks. Nonetheless, this is an important step forward. It hints that Microsoft and Mojang are becoming more comfortable deploying Minecraft Earth in its current state and that it could be just a matter of time before most countries have their chance to play.
Hey United States, we found your Minecraft Earth invite, it was behind the couch this whole time! Welcome to early access!
