Minecraft: Education Edition will be coming to the iPad and teachers will have access to it starting next month. Microsoft claims that there are currently 35 million people who are licensed to Minecraft: Education Edition. "Minecraft: Education Edition for iPad unlocks new and easy ways of collaboration and sharing, and has transformed the way our students and teachers engage with curriculum, projects and other subjects," Kyriakos Kouraris, director of technology for education at PaRK International School, stated in a statement. "The features enable deep and meaningful learning and the values that it promotes, from inclusion to 21st century skills, enable everyone to utilize technology with amazing results," said Koursaris.
Minecraft: Education Edition for iPad will be available in September. It comes with the Microsoft 365 for Education license. Teachers who do not have Microsoft 365 for Education may license the game here.
In its announcement today, Microsoft also said that the Chemistry Resource Pack developed for Minecraft: Education Edition will now be available for users playing Minecraft on Windows 10 PC and Xbox.
