License

Unless specifically stated the source code is from the MCC Team or Contributors, and is licensed under CDDL-1.0. In other words, the license and original author are listed in the headers of source files. These are the principal conditions of CDDL-1.0 licensing:

The licensed code can be used in any program you want regardless of whether the program is fully functional or not (or in the case of borrowing the code). The program itself can be closed or open source, free or commercial. - However, in all cases, any changes or improvements to the CDDL code (any code that is directly referenced in modifications to the CDDL code is considered to be an addition to the CDDL code, and therefore is subject to this requirement. e.g. a modification of a math function to use the fast lookup table makes that table itself an addition to the CDDL code, regardless of whether it's the form of a source code file on its own) must be made available to the public and freely available in source, under the CDDL license itself. Any program, binary or source, that makes use of CDDL codes must attribute credit to the source code (either the creator or the project). Modifications to the CDDL code, which have to be distributed as source may not remove notices that indicate the ancestry.
