Minecraft maker Mojang plans spin-off game

Minecraft maker Mojang is planning a spin-off game based on its wildly popular block-building title.
It is called Minecraft: Story Mode, it will be an episodic game that takes place within the familiar Minecraft world, but it will introduce new characters to the world.
Telltale Games, which has previously produced many episodic titles, is making the game.
The first episode will be available on consoles, PCs and Macs in 2015, and also on Android devices.
So far, no details about what it could look like has been revealed. Mojang has created a brief game for browsers called Info Quest II to provide an explanation of what it could look like.
In a blogpost, Mojang said the game will be developed with help of the Minecraft community.
It was designed to ensure players that Story Mode is not violent and bloody like other Telltale games. Recent Telltale games include The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands and games based on Game of Thrones and zombie thriller The Walking Dead.
"Telltale's Minecraft-inspired game will be similar to Minecraft," stated Mojang, "though it is a completely unique take on Minecraft that is influenced by our game."
Mojang has released a final version of its Scrolls card-based magic fighting game. Shortly after the announcement of Story Mode is out.
