Minecraft 1.18 release date: When will Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update due out?

UPDATE: Mojang has revealed that Minecraft 1.18 - Caves and Cliffs Part 2 - is now available to download and play on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 and 11 and Minecraft: Java Edition on Windows, macOS, and Linux.



The next major patch for the game isn't expected to be released until the beginning of next year, and at least a couple of months into 2022.



ORIGINAL - After a long period of waiting for the final Minecraft 1.18 release date is set for November 2021.



After enduring several delays and expansions during its development, Mojang is now ready to unleash Caves and Cliffs Part 2.



This update will make things look different in the background as well as visually. It's a great update for gamers of all PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, and Mobile gamers to play at no cost.



While most of the promises made in the past are likely to be fulfilled this month, there are some things that haven't been fulfilled.



Mojang has announced which items will be part of the final version, and what was postponed until 2022.



Items missing from Caves and Cliffs Part 2 includes archaeology, bundles, and goat horns, which have been delayed until the time of.



New biomes are being announced and gamers will soon be able to explore Noise Caves and Lush Caves.

This is not even talking about the long-promised development of underground and mountain areas with updated terrain generation, higher mountain peaks, as also more elaborate cave systems.



What time is CAVES AND CLIFFS PART II OF CAVES OUT?



Mojang confirmed that Minecraft 1.18 will be released on November 30, 2021.



While no launch date has been determined, players are likely to receive the Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update to arrive approximately 6pm GMT or 10 AM PDT in the case of players located in the United States.



There is no word on the size of the patch or if there will any updates in the coming year following the reduction of 1.18.



As we've mentioned in the previous article, the next Minecraft update will not include certain content that has been confirmed. The team behind Minecraft's development revealed this earlier in the month.

They're not being deleted, but we had to put them on hold for now. They won't be part of Wild Update, but they will be added to Minecraft when we are capable of.



"Until then there are mountains to climb and caves that you can explore. This will take some time, especially in the case of minimal planning and high confidence.
