Palmer Luckey, the boy genius co-founder of Oculus VR has wowed attendees at the company's Connect 2 developer conference today with the announcement that Minecraft is coming to the Rift. minecraft servers Although Oculus has yet to announce a launch date for its virtual reality headset, it is expected to hit retail by the end of spring when Minecraft will be made available on both the Windows Store and Oculus Store. It's no surprise that Microsoft would extend the massively popular game of crafting to the Rift platform as it's recently demonstrated a variety of augmented reality versions for its HoloLens headset, and also pledged to support both Oculus and Vive's version of VR.
