For those of you who enjoy a bit of a UK theme park News, there is a lot going on at the moment. The UK is abuzz with news about new attractions, new rides and special events. Some of the most popular UK theme parks are: LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, Thorpe Park, Legoland Windsor Resort and Chessington World of Adventures. These parks are the most visited, but there is also some great information out there about other UK amusement parks. In fact, you might even want to go visit some of these places yourself.

You might have heard about a project called The London Resort. This is an ambitious new theme park resort. It will feature two theme parks, a waterpark and thousands of hotel rooms. PY Gerbeau, chief executive of the London Resort Company Holdings, has spoken about the project's plans.

One of the attractions being touted is the Gigantosaurus Land. The attraction is based on the popular animated television series and will open in 2024.

Another ride worthy of mention is the Sik Roller Coaster. According to the developers, the Sik is the UK's first - and only - carbon-neutral coaster. There is a fair amount of hype about this, but I will tell you why.

This is a little more complex than simply naming the most expensive amusement park attraction, but it's certainly a contender. Described as a "multi-million-pound drop tower ride," the Croc Drop plunges riders 25 meters into the jaws of a giant crocodile.

Also worth mentioning is the Tornado Springs, which features eight different rides and is a play on a 1950s Midwest desert resort town. Those lucky enough to visit this attraction will be treated to some pretty spectacular views.

If you are a fan of Merlin Entertainments, you may already be familiar with the name. This company oversees some of the UK's most well-known amusement parks, including Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Legoland Windsor and Chessington World of Adventures. They also operate Paultons Park.

While you're at it, check out the Paramount's London Riverside Theme Park. The park is located in north Kent, just outside of London and features live music and cinema venues. Plus, it will feature more than 50 rides, restaurants and hotels.

If you're in the mood for some serious outdoor fun, head to the UK's biggest theme park. Thorpe Park in Surrey has more than 30 rides, including Britain's fastest roller coaster, Stealth. Other attractions include Tiger Rock, Derren Brown's Ghost Train, Zufari and Cbeebies Land. And if you're looking to take in a show, there's the Gruffalo River Ride Adventure.

The London Resort is a big project, and the company has been in the media for a number of reasons. One reason is the planned reclassification of the local boat dock as a "freeport." Reclassifying the dock would have an impact on the ferry terminal.

However, it is a promising site that will be able to serve the British public for many years to come. A new theme park will open in 2024.
