Play is at the heart of everything we do however, safety is the first priority. It's true, even before playing. this is what awesome looks like To accomplish this, Mojang Studios enlist the assistance of moderators who are dedicated to maintaining Minecraft's friendly environment.

This is work we've been working on for a long time, but we've recently added new moderation options to the Bedrock version of Minecraft that we'll be rolling out in the coming months. These tools are meant to help ensure that all our players are as secure as they can in Minecraft and Realms on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, iOS, and Android.

So, what's new? Minecraft moderators may ban players who do not adhere to our Community Guidelines when they send online messages via our services (Realms) or Featured Servers, or when communicating online through signposts and books. Of course the content of single player games is not controlled.

Currently, moderators can give permanent bans that extend to all versions of Minecraft (except Minecraft Dungeons) in order to target the most severe offenses, that are designed to harm other players. We are also in the process of introducing temporary bans for minor crimes.

When an account is banned the user will receive a message letting them know that they have been banned, as well as details on how to cancel their Realms subscription. For more information, including examples of severe offenses and guidelines on what to do if you're banned, please visit the Minecraft Help Center.

By introducing these new tools, we aim to ensure that our Community Guidelines are enforced, which in turn will ensure that we create a safe and enjoyable experience during our games. There are numerous other. We are always looking for new ways to make our community safer for everyone. We will keep you updated on the progress. In the meantime, please be kind to one another!
