ScreenGuard is made of high-tensile stainless-grade wire mesh which is more corrosion-resistant than other types of stainless-grade mesh.
The 316 marine-grade steel mesh has been treated with a specialised UV protection coat for its high resistance to corrosion and wear.

ScreenGuard mesh is available in black only.

How long is the warranty for the ScreenGuard?
If the ScreenGuard screen protector has been installed correctly, then the warranty covers the screen protector for 10 years. However, if the screen protector has not been installed correctly, then there is no guarantee that the manufacturer will cover any damage caused by incorrectly installing the screen protector.
What frequency do I need to clean the ScreenGuard?
To keep your ScreenGuard product working well, you'll need to regularly use it to protect yourself from pollutants and contaminants.
To clean your ScreenGuard product, there are two different methods:
- We recommend using Powawash, a biocidal detergent to clean your screen guard. Click here to learn more.
- Apply Powawash using a soft bristle brush or non-abrasive cloth, then rinse off with a warm tap or distilled (not filtered) running/cistern
Which types of aluminium are your frames made from?
ScreenGuard is made out of T6 extruded aluminium – T6 aluminium alloy, which means its hardness is between 6 and 7 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness.
Aluminium is a type of metal that has high tensile strength. It's also an excellent conductor of electricity and, if used properly, is resistant to corrosion.
