Example 1:  If the Diameter of a circle is 49 cm, then what will be the radius of that circle?

Solution:

            From the question,

Diameter= 49

Now, we have to get the formula having the Diameter.

Radius = Diameter/ 2

putting the values, we will get

Radius = 49 / 2

24.5

            The radius of the circle, from the question, will be 24.5 cm.

 

Example 2: If the diameter of a circle is 150 cm, then what will be the radius of the circle?

Solution:

From the question,

Diameter= 150

Now, we have to get the formula having the diameter.

Radius = Diameter/ 2

Putting the values, we will get

Radius = 150 / 2

75

           The radius of the circle, from the question, will be 75 cm.

 

Example 3: If the circumference of the circle is 20 cm, then what will be the radius of the circle?

Solution:

From the question,

Circumference ( C ) = 20 cm

Now, we have to get the formula having the circumference.

Radius = Circumference / 2* 3.14

Setting the values in the given formula, we will get

Radius = 20 / 2* 3.14

The solution after solving this sum will be the radius of the circle.
