ATLauncher Modpack Launcher For Minecraft

24 September 2022

We've just released version 3.4.20.0 of the launcher that includes beta support for ARM based devices and preparations for translations and multilanguage support.

The previous version of ATLauncher wasn't working well with ARM devices, but with this update, we've added support for running Minecraft on ARM devices. We've tested this out on a lot and it's acceptable, but if own an ARM device and are experiencing issues, please reach out on our Discord channel to help us improve and fix issues going forward as we now fully support ARM devices.

We've been working to make the launcher compatible with multi-language languages. Although we're not yet there, we're getting close. The last step is to get the translations current so that the UI can be modified to accommodate different languages. If you are proficient in English or another language and would like to help translate the launcher, please visit the CrowdIn page. Contact us through the #translations channel on our Discord channel.

Jul 11, 2022 - Mojang accounts are not available online any longer

We're currently experiencing multiple issues being raised where people are unable to login to online servers using their non-migrated Mojang account.

Microsoft appears to have stopped support for Mojang accounts. To play on servers online, you will need to migrate your account to Microsoft as the legacy API's used to manage the management of sessions within the game are no longer working.

This could be a glitch however, more likely it's a deliberate decision and you'll no longer be able to sign in to Mojang's servers online using Mojang accounts from now on.

May 18 2022 CurseForge Modpacks Project Distribution Toggle

CurseForge had a caveat when it announced the official api was available for third-party use. CurseForge projects would be able to choose whether third parties can download their projects. wicked frise CurseForge mods are now able to choose to stop distribution to third-party clients.

This change is in effect as of today. Modpack downloads from CurseForge.

Modpacks with modifications that block third parties from downloading them might require additional steps to manually download the mods via your browser to complete the installation process.

Similar steps are required for mods that are added to instances created by CurseForge.

If you have any issues downloading CurseForge modpacks or mods, please contact us on our Discord.

May 17, 2022 – Modrinth Modpacks Launched

Modrinth Modpacks are now available in an Alpha state.

For those not aware, Modrinth is a mod (and now modpack) platform as an alternative to CurseForge. Modrinth is open source and is currently in an active development program and is extremely exciting to see the development that Modrinth makes. Modrinth.com offers more information about the project and Modrinth.

The latest news is that Modpacks are now available to be uploaded and downloaded from Modrinth. ATLauncher has support for exporting instances in the Modrinth format that is ready to upload to Modrinth and downloading and installing pre-made packs.
