The Lamborghini Revuelto, priced from $604,000, is the first ever plug-in hybrid electric powertrain from Lamborghini. It builds on the legacy of power and speed, increasing the output of the V12 engine with three electric motors powered by a 3.8 kWh battery, producing 1,015 hp and promising lightning-fast acceleration with a 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds.
The Revuelto offers multiple driving modes, including Citta (city mode) for silent electric driving, Strada (street mode) for everyday use, Sport mode for dynamic driving, and Corsa (track mode) for high-performance racing. The car's dual clutch-aided transmission eliminates lag and shift shock, providing instant torque and a thrilling driving experience.
Despite its power, the Revuelto offers a comfortable and thoughtfully designed cabin. Comfort seats, a shelf behind the seats, a pad under the multimedia screen for secure phone storage, and cup holders make the interior practical and user-friendly. The car is also designed to deliver more engine sound to the driver than the passenger, enhancing the driving experience.
The Revuelto's rear-mounted engine is open for all to see, and the front boot offers about four cubic feet of space, enough for two roll-aboard bags. The car features scissor doors, a rear spoiler that deploys at speeds over 50 MPH, and a button to add lift to the front end to avoid scraping the front spoiler.
While the Revuelto may seem intimidating with its complicated switches and need for a tutorial before putting it in gear, it is ultimately a gentle giant, welcoming when you need it and thrilling when you're ready for it. The Lamborghini Revuelto combines power, comfort, and practicality in a stunning hybrid supercar.
