Upcoming 16-Inch MacBook Pro spotted in Regulatory Database Ahead of WWDC Event Next Week
2 min read

Next week, Apple will be hosting its WWDC annual event. While we expect substantial software upgrades and app improvements, it is also reported that the company may introduce new hardware during this event. The new iPad Pro versions and iMac 24" with its powerful M1 Chip were revealed in April by Apple. The company is currently believed to announce its much-expected refresh of the MacBook Pro at the WWDC event. Apparently, in the Regulatory database, 16-inch MacBook Pro was submitted in front of a WWDC event.

A new 16-inch MacBook Pro model has been filed with the regulatory database.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro has been filed in the Chinese regulatory database before Apple's WWDC event, as discovered by MacRumors. Sunwoda Electronics, an Apple supplier, submitted the listing on April 14. The item is for a battery with the model number A2527, which is similar to Apple's and has a capacity of 8,693 mAh/11.45V. The battery capacity and other specifications are nearly identical to those of the current MacBook Pro 16-inch model.

Sunwoda Electronics also filed the iPhone 13 battery capacities that were discovered in the same Chinese repository earlier this week. According to reports, the forthcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro model would have a somewhat smaller battery capacity than the present model. This could be because of the updated MacBook Pro's smaller shape. Apple's M-series CPUs will power the next MacBook Pro model, which will bring improved performance and power efficiency.

While some sources claim that Apple will unveil the new MacBook Pro model at its WWDC event next week, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman believes that the new MacBook will be released in the summer. Keep in mind that Apple has the last say, and we could be shocked by what the company has planned.

Folks, that's all there is to it. What are your expectations for the new Apple Silicon-enhanced 16-inch MacBook Pro model? Please let us know in the comments section below.
