A development store is a Shopify account that enables you to test themes or applications you create or create a store for a customer. As a Shopify Partner, you are allowed an infinite number of development stores that you may access from your Partner Dashboard. They offer many of the same capabilities as the Advanced Shopify plan, are cost-free, and do not have time restrictions. Additionally, it is possible to process an endless number of test transactions. However, you cannot:

Installing paid applications (except for Partner-friendly apps). Create more than ten private applications. Keep in mind that in order to receive a recurring income share from any merchant you recommend, you must first set up a development store. Step 1: Click "Stores" in your Shopify Partner Dashboard. Step 2: On the Stores page, select "Add store" from the menu. Step 3: Select "Development store" as your store type. Step 4: Click "Save" when you're done. You may access your new development store after it has been created by going to the Stores page on your Partner Dashboard.
