Following the release of Andrew Tate and his brother from prison in Romania, the former has released a statement to further try and clear his name of any wrongdoing.

The pair were in prison on charges of sex trafficking, rape and money laundering. It was the Romanian authorities that moved in to arrest the duo in their own home. They have been kept in detention for three months but they were recently released and put under house arrest instead.

The investigation is still ongoing and just because they are now under house arrest does not mean that it is the beginning of the end of their troubles.

Tate speaks out again
It did not take long for Andrew Tate to jump on Twitter and start talking about the situation. He tweeted: "Investigated and followed for over a year across the planet. Subject any "normal" man to this - see what appears. No charges, zero sexual perversions or immoralities. My detractors are too hate filled to realise, I am cleaner than 99.9% of the people you walk past in the mall."

The exact terms of the house arrest are not fully known, such as what happens to the collection of cars that Tate had at his house which were seized by the authorities.

There is not yet any word on whether they will be returned to the property or not whilst the investigation continues.

It is expected that anything seized during the arrest will remain in the possession of the authorities and will only go back to the Tate's should they be proven innocent of their alleged offences.
