There will be no season 6 of the criminal series Money Heist. Part 5, volume 2, is the last season of the series.

The Spanish robbery crime drama TV series Money Heist is developed by Alex Pina. The series follows two long-planned heists, one targeting Spain's Bank and another targeting Spain's Royal Mint, as narrated from the viewpoint of Tokio, one of the criminals.

The story is presented in the real timeframe, with flashbacks, time leaps, secret character agendas, and an unreliable narrator to provide depth.

Who played the Professor?

Alvaro Morte played the role of the Professor. The Spanish actor was born on February 23, 1975, in Andalusia. Morte made his acting debut in Hospital Central, the Spanish Tv series, where he portrayed a small role.

From 2007 to 2008, he portrayed Ray, a chauffeur in the television drama Planta. It is his first significant character in a Television series. Morte played a small part in Lola, la Pelicula, a biographical movie about the folk musician Lola Flores, in which Morte briefly appeared as the main character's lover, who was a bullfighter.

Will there be a spinoff of the thriller drama series Money Heist?

Yes, there will be a spinoff of the thriller drama series Money heist season 6 named 'Berlin.' The launch date of 'Berlin' has yet to be determined, although the show's creators have stated that it will air in 2023.

The La Casa de Papel group may have completed their heist, but that does not mean the thrilling narrative is done. Money Heist's spinoff, 'Berlin' delves into the background of the monstrous mastermind Berlin (Pedro Alonso) prior to he teamed up with Tokyo, Professor, as well as the individuals of the gang to carry off the biggest robbery in Spanish and global history.

WHAT HAPPENED IN 'MONEY HEIST' SEASON 5 VOLUME 1?

The Bank Of Spain heist continues throughout the first part of the fifth season with a flurry of standoffs involving guns. Lots of them.

As it reaches breaking point, the team are forced to bring things to a close sooner than expected. In one chaotic twist, hostage Arturo attempts to make a stand, but he gets shot by his ex-flame, Stockholm.

There was also the slightly alarming feat of The Professor being found by former policewoman, Alicia. But interestingly, she doesn't turn him in right away. We're left wondering what exactly it is she wants from him.

The instalment also brings some seriously captivating insights into Tokyo's life before The Professor enlisted her. Throughout the season, flashbacks provide us with details about her former lover and crime partner, Rene.

As the series came to an end, we watched as armed forces finally break into the bank, in the ensuing explosion (through the roof, no less), the team are separated.

Back under orders from The Professor, he demands them to flee and come to his aid, but getting past the armed forces isn't smooth sailing. Tokyo is shot five times. In a legendary, adrenaline fuelled scene, she stands her ground as the attackers close in. Then, she pulls the pin on several grenades attached to her chest, taking all of them down with her.

WILL THERE BE A 'MONEY HEIST' SEASON 6?

Going by the global popularity garnered by the first five seasons, we have every reason to think Netflix will renew the show for a sixth season.

But that said, there's also a chance the second instalment to season 5 will bring all things to a close--Tokyo's death and the heists are over, suggesting there's a natural end in sight.

Who knows though, perhaps a spin-off series with some of the show's most beloved characters could be on the cards--Tokyo's colourful past certainly gives rise to a prequel. Petition anyone?
