Emotionally stunted kids might grow up not knowing how to process big emotions. It might be a detriment to their future. As early as now, help your kids strengthen themselves emotionally. Here are some tips that can help: 

1.Communicate well and learn to acknowledge their emotions.

Kids learn by example. If you are not showing that you care about their emotions and you are not communicating well, it will be harder for them to learn how to process their emotions. 

When they have things that they want to say, listen to them. You might think that just because they are kids, their opinions no longer matter. But this isn’t true at all. 

2.Expose them in different settings to help them with their emotional growth.

Introduce them to activities where they can meet many people. Socializing is actually a great way of improving emotional growth. They are placed in situations where they learn how to assert themselves. This can also help build empathy. 

3.Consider getting them in sports.
