Wedding invitations have to be perfect. It is the first opportunity you have to let your guests know all the details of your upcoming wedding. In this post, you will discover how to do it and what you should consider when making the Wedding invitation match the rest of your wedding concept.
1. PLAN THE INVITATION:

While a destination wedding in Italy might give you some ideas, like Romeo and Juliet or Renaissance themes, my advice is to channel your ideas. Follow your desires. Your invitation should reflect your personality and style.
The trends can fade, but if you choose your concept and invitation carefully based on your ideas and preferences, you will still be happy to see your wedding photos completely reflecting it in ten years.
3. YOUR INVITATION SHOULD MATCH YOUR VENUE
If you are getting married at a luxury location, your e-invite should reflect that. A shabby chic e-invite or thin paper doesn’t match well with a five-star hotel!
The colors of the wedding invitation should match the colors of the venue, and any cards you are using should match that feeling to create a storyline for your special wedding day.
4. MAKE IT SIMPLE AND RELEVANT
To make a great invitation, include all the important details, like date, hour, location, and RSVP. For other details, I always advise creating a site.
As the guests will be traveling to reach the wedding, it is a good idea to tell them all the travel details on the website, from directions and useful numbers to call a taxi to the necessary plugs and registry information. Include the link to the website on your wedding invitation, and your guests will have all the necessary information at hand.
Also, keep in mind the readability of your font. You wish the whole experience to go smoothly for your guests, starting from the first impression — the invitation.
5. KEEP THE DATES IN MIND
Send your Save the Date eight to ten months in advance for destination weddings, then the formal wedding invitation four to five months before the wedding as for when you should contact your guests with the R.S.V.P, the sooner, the better but give the last call three to four weeks before the date. If you do so, you will have all the details of your reception and the seating chart at your disposal.
