Listen up! You are not following the trend and offering a dull window display to the passerby. If the festive season is about to come, you should make the display decorative, happy, and colorful. Go to any luxurious store, and you’d find that products will be spaced out. That’s because retailers are paying per square foot, and the more products they shove into one space, you know that the items are on sale. 

Expensive brands will always space out their products to create a regal and expensive look. Walk into a branded store, and you will know what we’re talking about! So, if you have a known brand with expensive items, consider spacing out the products. If the products are on sale, don’t shove them altogether, but look for a space-saving display. 

Mistake #5 Not Showcasing Your Products Properly 

Your in-store display looks great, but it is not solving any purpose. Would you rather have a pretty display or get more customers? 

Invest in racks that showcase all your best items. This way, you will get more customers to look at your products from a closer distance. Let them experience the product first-hand, and try it on unless it’s not expensive. 

You need a display with a glass top or some protective yet transparent layer for expensive items. 

Visual merchandising is real - and you should pay attention to it. If you pay attention to how you display the items, you will get more customers. Give them an immersive experience, and let them get a good look at the product. That’s how you win a customer! Always remember people buy what they see because seeing is believing! 

Mistake #6 There is no Interactivity 

You have hidden the products deep down somewhere, and now your customers have nothing to see. 

Displays are meant to be visual, so make the display interactive. Let the customers have a deeper engagement with the product because that’s how you will gain their attention, and they will end up purchasing it. 

For example, there are vineyards where you taste the wine and then purchase the one you like the best. Keep samplers of wine or fresh beer in your store so customers can try them out and then purchase them. 

As for clothing, grocery, or gadget stores, you can purchase racks that help the customers get a look at the product. They can try the product and see themselves in the mirror. Pay attention to these little things to win their loyalty towards your brand.
