2 min read

Considered Malaysia's largest carrier, AirAsia flies to over 165 destinations in 25 countries across the world with a host of exclusive offers and in-flight services for its passengers. If you are also planning to travel with the airline, it is time to become thoroughly familiar with AirAsia's flight change policy in case a change of plans arises. Here we go:

AirAsia Anti-Change Policy: Highlights
According to AirAsia's flight change rule, the carrier will charge the full ticket price as change fee for bookings made through an unauthorized portal.
Passengers carrying Low Fare and Value Pack tickets must pay a ticket change fee for any changes made after the risk-free period.
AirAsia's flight change policy states that any unused portions will be refunded and can be used for future flights. The remaining part of the trip will be used by the passenger for one year from the date of travel.
No refunds are generated for passengers with non-refundable tickets. The full value of the ticket will be charged as an AirAsia flight change fee.
The passenger holding a Premium Flex and Premium Flatbed ticket can make changes free of charge even after the risk-free period has expired.
Passengers are entitled to a full refund with the option to reschedule travel free of charge if AirAsia cancels a flight due to technical reasons. For refunds, passengers can choose any available form. The money will be refunded to the original payment method.
