The Shakti form of Sati is worshiped here. It is believed that when Shiva was going to Mount Kailash carrying the dead body of Sati, Shaktipeeths were established wherever her body parts fell. It is said that the eyes of Goddess Sati fell at this place, inspired by this temple. Hence this temple was named Naina Devi. The temple has two eyes which represent Naina Devi.

Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is a paradise for wildlife lovers who want to relax in the serene lap of nature. This national park is situated at the foothills of the vast Himalayas and is known for its lush green environment. India is famous for the world's largest population of wild tigers, and Jim Corbett Park is the home of about 160 tigers. It is situated on the banks of the river Ramganga and tourists come here for sightseeing and adventure safaris. If you come here from October to February, you will get to see some unseen birds here that you will not be able to see anywhere else. Here lion, elephant, bear, tiger, pig, deer, chital, sambar, panda, cockroach, nilgai and cheetah, etc. 'Wild animals' are found in large numbers. Similarly, pythons and many types of snakes also reside in this forest.

Pt. Ballabh Pant Zoo

This zoo attracts the tourists further. Animals like black panther, tiger, bear, deer, wild cat, leopard, mountain fox, wolf, etc., can be seen here. This place is spread over 2100 meters, and tall, dense trees help animals and birds live. The view around it is breathtaking.

Sattal

The beautiful place of 7 locks in Nainital is known as 'Saatal.' This Sattal is about 23 km from Nainital. The view here is lovely to see, where you will also be able to see ducks roaming in the lake.

Eco Cave Gardens

The famous Eco Garden is six small caves with various animals, famous for swinging gardens and musical fountains. The lit lamps here will attract you.
