Best Web Hosting Providers in India

"How do I choose the best web host?"What is the number of times you have searched for the same question and found different answers on different blogs? Your starting point has not changed.

The Startup Journal has tried five web hosting companies over the past seven years. Although there are plenty of web hosting companies that are not on this list, that does not mean they aren't reliable. Having not yet tried them, we don't know how they'll be.

It is important to note that there is no particular order to the list.

#1 GreenGeeks

As of now, there has not been a single downtime since we moved The Startup Journal to GreenGeeks. We have noticed a significant increase in load times.

GreenGeeks offers shared hosting plans for about $10 per month. This plan allows you to host one website with unlimited storage and traffic for Rs. 220 ($2.95) a month. In addition, one year's free hosting comes with a free domain name.

Google now favors websites which have SSL certificates installed in the search results, so it is mandatory to install one on your website. The company offers free SSL Certificates (Let's Encrypt) with all of its plans.

#2 A2 Hosting

Our network has used A2 Hosting for several years. With the price of just Rs. 288 per month, I believe A2 Hosting is among the fastest web hosts you'll find.

In all of A2 Hosting's plans, traffic and storage are unlimited. The company provides a free domain name but does not offer a free SSL like GreenGeeks.

A2 Hosting hosted our website almost 100% uptime for three years. We highly recommend A2 Hosting.

#3 SiteGround

Do you recall how many times other bloggers have recommended SiteGround? How many times have you heard that? There's one more.

Over 2 million websites use SiteGround's best hosting, especially for WordPress, and has been around for 16 years. A monthly subscription to their service begins at just $ 3.95.

Unfortunately, SiteGround's or any other WordPress hosting service's limitation on visitors is a drawback. Visitors are capped at a certain number, despite providing unlimited traffic. Guests are limited to 10,000 a month on the starter plan. You must upgrade to the next plan if you exceed that number.

SiteGround's renewal prices are also prohibitively high. Our blogs no longer run on servers provided by SiteGround, but many of them do.

#4 InMotion Hosting

They've been around since 2001! We've helped over a million websites go online during the last 20 years. As an established name in the field, the hosting For fast and reliable support, InMotion leads the industry. You can also migrate your old website for free from them to them.

It has an entry level shared hosting plan starting at $3.99 per month (approx. Rs.290) that is highly optimized for WordPress and includes a free SSL certificate.

#5 DreamHost

DreamHost, an Internet hosting company founded in 1996, operates in 100 countries, hosting more than 1.5 million websites. Uptime of nearly 99.95% has earned the company a positive reputation.

If you pay for three years in advance, the shared hosting pricing starts at $2.95/mo (approx. Rs. 220), just like any other company on this list. Starting plan allows you to host one website. The storage and traffic are unlimited. Additionally, all plans include a free SSL certificate.
