Tuition: $349

The condensed/recertification version of the WFR course is a 40-hour course that is principally geared toward those who need a recertification course for WFR or those who are currently certified/licensed as EMT or higher and can perform a basic medical/trauma assessment and are looking to gain wilderness specific training.  This course can be used for up to 20 hours of CMEs through BEMS.

The course includes instruction in pertinent legal issues, treatment of medical and traumatic emergencies (including fracture realignments and dislocations, frostbite, heatstroke, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, bites and stings, etc.), documentation, and much more.  Classroom sessions are reinforced with hands-on practice in a variety of field settings, including a night rescue simulation to help solidify the new information.
