You cannot forget the lexicon, spelling and grammar rules when writing.

The texts of a good writer will be simple texts, easy to understand and I do not mean that the topics are simple or not very technical, I mean to write clearly, without being convoluted, without giving rise to misunderstandings.

General culture

All the knowledge you may have about a topic or about any topic can be very effective when writing. So read, you are curious to learn, because of what surrounds you.

Advantage of a good writer being aware of news and trends

I swear to you that I am not a person who reads the news, or who is watching the news every day, it is more almost or I would say that I live without seeing the news. Despite this, I am always aware of the news, of the trends in my sector, why? Well, because I inform myself in areas that interest me and with which I work.

If you want to be an editor or hire one, you must demand and seek that this person is aware of the news and developments in the sector and trends.

Be careful, I do not mean that if you are looking for an editor for the texts of your website who is from a dental prosthetic laboratory... look for a specific editor on your topic, because you may not find it,... By originality I don't mean to be creative, that too... but to define your own style. There is a lot of content on the Internet. A defined, own style will attract the attention of the public. And it will give you a personal brand.

Communication skills

This ability complements many that I have already told you about, creating a message and conveying it is something that everyone can do, but getting that message to reach the right audience properly and really have an effect, that is the complicated part.

Getting good feedback from the people who read you is invaluable, knowing how to be a good writer, communicator, is one of the keys to achieving it.

Empathy

You may be wondering why? So to get excited. A good writer will know how to empathize with the reader, he will know how to touch on those strong, weak or common points with what he is writing. The better your empathy, the better the emotion caused with your reader and the better the results of your texts.
