A Prayer For Humanity In Hopes For A Better Tomorrow

A Prayer For Humanity In Hopes For A Better Tomorrow
2 min read

It is saddening to witness the plight,

The lack of freedom in the colors red, blue, and white,

Our children usurped, hope in shambles,

The lush greens, now a desert,

With all said and done, we yearn for hope, more than we can borrow,

We join our hands together and pray for a better tomorrow.

If we look at the state of the world today, it's a rather depressing sight. We have people terrified of what is and what will be. We have children afraid to go to school, and when they do, they are taught hate. The very police who are deployed to protect us and the constructs of a capitalist nation are gravely under attack.

Look around you; what have we become? In the thirst for freedom to bring about change, we have forgotten the values that made America great. So, through all the unrest, what does one do? Let's go back to our roots and remember what our Heavenly Father taught us.

"And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."

-Colossians 3:14

What we need is to recognize the ecumenical Jesus and blur the segregation that resides between Christian denominations. Instead, we must work together, developing a closer relationship and a sense of unity among the churches.

If you wish to reach your goal quickly, go alone; if you wish to go beyond that, go together. That, right there, is the key to sowing the seed for a fruitful tomorrow.
