Here are a few of the most popular EV charging stations in Dubai:

  • DEWA Green Chargers: DEWA, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, operates the largest network of charging stations in Dubai, with over 380 stations. The stations offer a variety of charging speeds, including ultra-fast (150 kW DC), fast (43 kW AC), and public (22 kW AC).  
  • ENOC: ENOC, a local gas station chain, operates over 100 charging stations in Dubai. The stations offer a variety of charging speeds, including fast (50 kW DC) and public (22 kW AC).
  • Tesla Superchargers: Tesla operates a network of Supercharger stations in Dubai, which are only available to Tesla vehicles. The stations offer the fastest charging speeds, with up to 150 kW DC.

The cost of charging an electric car in Dubai varies depending on the charging station and the type of charger you use. DEWA Green Chargers charge AED 1.50 per kWh for AC charging and AED 2.50 per kWh for DC charging. ENOC stations charge AED 1.10 per kWh for AC charging and AED 2.20 per kWh for DC charging. Tesla Superchargers charge AED 2.30 per kWh.
