Tapestries are lovely accents for walls and interiors that could use a little something extra. Additionally, they can add texture to walls and reduce noise. There are many various ways to hang tapestries, but whichever one you select, it just takes a few simple steps to have a beautiful tapestry up on your wall!

In case your Wall Tapestry has a pocket for a rod, use a rod with finials. The upper edge of most contemporary tapestries will have a rod pocket. Remember that using this technique will cause your tapestry to dangle away from the wall, the exact extent depends on the type of brackets you use.

Try a different technique if you want your tapestry to hang flat with the wall.

However, you must make sure the rod will fit in the tapestry's pocket. The required rod's diameter is determined by the tapestry's weight, and its length by its width.

A medium- or large-size Wall Tapestries weighing between 2 and 10 lbs can be supported by a rod with a diameter of 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch.

The rod should be long enough for the brackets to touch the tapestry's margins and for the rod finials to extend past them. This will enable the Wall Tapestry to just barely cast a shadow over the brackets,

Drawing attention instead to the finals.

The Wall Tapestries should hang at least 12 inch (1 cm) out from the wall, hence the wall brackets should protrude somewhat from the wall. This will stop moisture from accumulating.

Choose the location where you want to hang the tapestry. The middle of the tapestry should typically be hung at eye level for a person of average height. To make the tapestry blend in with the rest of your decor, you can hang it however you like.

If you're hanging the Wall Tapestry over a sofa or against really high walls, you might need to hang it a little higher.

If required, iron the tapestry.

You might need to iron your tapestry to get rid of creases before hanging it. On the reverse of the tapestry, test the ironing with a low- to medium-heat setting. If ironing the back of the Wall Tapestry does not remove creases, place a dye-free bed sheet over the front and iron that way.

To erase the wrinkles, you might need to turn up the iron's temperature and apply some steam. Always test in a corner of the tapestry first.

Locate your studs.

Utilize a stud finder to locate the wall studs so that you may fasten your brackets to them. Drill holes at intervals such that the brackets will rest just beyond the tapestry's breadth. To prevent your Wall Tapestries from turning out uneven, use a level to ensure that these holes are all the same size.

It's not always necessary to hang tapestries on wall studs. The tapestry may usually be hung anywhere you desire by using drywall screws.

If you don't have a level, you can also measure the distance from the ceiling to the desired tapestry hanging location. Ensure that on all sides, the distance from the ceiling to the hole is the same.

The tapestry's back has a rod pocket; insert the rod there.

Put the rod through the Wall Tapestries rod pocket at the top of the back. Each end of the rod should have a finial attached.

Enjoy your lovely new eye-catching work of art by hanging your tapestry on the brackets! One final time, make sure that everything appears even and secure before inserting the rod firmly into the wall-mounted brackets.
