Ed Fries is an ex-VP of publishing at Microsoft, Ouya advisor, and the creator of Halo 2600. He also created FigurePrints which is a company that is known for its real-life recreations of the content you play in games such as statues that are modeled after World of Warcraft avatars. The company is now FigurePrints is recreating Minecraft worlds.
FigurePrints' world exporter is available for Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows XP. Once you've installed the exporter you can select a portion of your MineCraft PC world and upload it to FigurePrints where the designers will transform your meticulously designed game world into a physical model. You'll then need to place your order and wait patiently for the box to arrive at your doorstep. In terms of price, FingerPrints says "replicas of Minecraft worlds are significantly different in cost," based on the size of the area that is recreated.
