Good Things about Using a Gel Nail Polish
3 min read

Gel nail polish comprises a unique varnish mixture that requires UV light curing. Proponents claim that the gel compositions are far more practical than standard manicures because they do not chip for at least two weeks. Similarly, gel overlays are perceived as kinder than traditional overlays, such as acrylics and artificial tips, which support the maintenance of robust and healthy natural nails. Gel nail polishes are convenient and easy to use; additionally, they come with many advantages. Check out the following; you will know why I made the statement.

Gel Nail Polishes Look Amazing

These simple nail polishes give a beautiful finish, much better than normal nail polishes. Gel nail polish is more pigmented and thus requires some coasts to produce a solid color, but this also varies with the brand they utilize. These nail polishes are very nice and glossy and look natural, and they are available in different colors.

Stays For A Long Time and Very Durable

Compared to normal nail polishes, the best gel nail polish lasts a very long time. These polishes can last 2-3 weeks after applying, while normal nail polish is peeled off 5-7 days after applying. Furthermore, OYAFUN nail polish is much more durable than the manicures developed from ordinary nail polishes. These nail polishes are less likely to be peeled, lifted, or chipped, but they are more suitable for your nails exposed to unsuitable environments like heat and strong chemicals.

Apply Gel Nail Polish Much Faster

If you are using gel nail polish, there is no need for a hair dryer to cure and harden the polish because it will happen automatically. Gel polishes do not take much time to cure and require only 30-60 seconds, but regular nail polishes, depending on the brand, take 10-15 minutes to harden. Therefore, you can apply these polishes faster on your nails, and by the time you are finished, the polish will be dried.

Fix Mistakes Easily

Gel polishes are liquid until they are subjected to a UV lamp, at which point they solidify. Suppose you must correct a mistake when creating basic designs or nail art. If you still need to cure the gel polish, removing it and starting over is simple. However, use solvents to correct errors made with ordinary nail polish.

How to Renew Discolored Gel Nail Polish

You can revive your discolored gel, peel off nail polish, and beautify your manicure by following these tips:

Using Nail Buffer

Use a smooth nail buffer to gently buff away the gel polish's discolored surface. Avoid buffing too vigorously, as this may cause the polish layer to thin.

Soak Nails in Warm Water

Add warm water to a taka bowl, then soak your nails for 10-15 minutes. This will soften the polish and lower discoloration. Now add hydrogen peroxide to a separate water bowl, then apply the solution to your nails using a cotton ball.

Once you clean your nails, apply a new layer of gel nail polish and dry your nails properly under a UV lamp.
