Har ki Dun Trek

1 min read
Har ki Dun Trek The breathtaking Har Ki Dun Trek is in the 50-kilometer southwestern part of Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, with a plethora of mesmerizing landscapes and great cultural significance. This valley has been explored and named by Jack Gibson as the 'Valley of Gods' or the 'Sound of Shiva'. He has planned the festival where the drum is worshiped. It is reminiscent of Lord Someshwara and takes place in August.

The trek, which spans 25 km and covers a period of 3 days, involves transport to Sankri, the starting point. The establishment is seasonal, and it opens in late March, stumbles around with ice, and blossoms in April. Summers are pleasant. The one-of-a-kind Har Ki Dun festival in August is the highlight.

Alternatively, to get to Marinda Tal Pond, there are three ways. We can enjoy the views of Hata Peak from Hata Valley, while the Jaundhar Glacier with Swargarohini Peak is currently being studied because of the impacts of global warming.   Book this amazing trek with the best trekking company in Uttarakhand- Himalaya Shelter.
