How to Hard Boil Eggs

Another method to hard boil eggs is to shock them. If you have an older egg, you may have left it out for 20 minutes before boiling it. In such a case, you might end up with a cracked egg. To prevent this from happening, run the eggs under cold water or submerge them in an ice bath.
