So, what is eco-anxiety?
In the year 2017, eco-anxiety was considered as a fear for environmental doom. While it is not any diagnosable condition, various mental health professionals are aware of the impact that it can have on a person’s wellbeing and psychological health.
When a person starts thinking negatively about something, they manifest reduced feeling of autonomy and control, the start feeling helpless and fearful, and aggressive at times leading to depression. Furthermore, it creates chronic stress and may also lead to people experiencing symptoms of anxiety, such as trouble concentrating, sleep problems, nervousness, panic, and more.
