Great Significance of First Door of KAABAH:

The door of the Kaabah holds great significance in the life of Muslims. The doors of Kaabah have been of most important interest to several kings and rulers all through the history of Makkah since it was built by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) and he called the people for the Hajj 5000 years earlier.

No Door or Roof When Kaabah First Built:

As per history when Kaabah was first constructed, the Kaabah did not have any single door or roof and was made of walls. If you look into history, the first-ever person to form a door for Al-Kaaba was called “King TUBBA”, and it is comparatively long before Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). It was said that King TUBBA was the first to cover Al-Kaabah. He educated the leaders of the Jurhum society to keep it clean and make a door and a key for it.

2nd Door built by Abdullah Allah Ibn Al-Zubayr:

The door made by King TUBBA was transformed by Abdullah Allah ibn Al-Zubayr. The door constructed by Abdullah Allah ibn Al-Zubayr was the 11-arms-long door.

3rd Door was reshaped in the original height:

Historians say that after changing the door in the year 64 A.H., and as it faded throughout the time and during the era of Abdullah Allah ibn al-Zubayr, the door was redesigned into its original height of six arms.

4th door reformed into gold-painted:

In 1045 AH, the door was redesigned again. Silver bits and pieces that weigh up to 200 pounds were added and the door was painted with gold. This was finalized in the era of Murad IV. It was the first door to have silver and gold in it and it sustained that way until the year 1356 AH.

5th door is separated into two parts:

The door was divided into two parts with geometrical decorations on it. A unique type of metal plate of high quality and confrontation to weather was used in manufacturing the door; which is the reason for the strength for more than 300 years on al-Kaaba’s Eastern wall.

New Doors of KAABAH by King Abdul-Aziz:

Three eras in advance, the founder of Saudi Arabia, King Abdul-Aziz al-Saud, got a new door ready in 1363 AH, with his own money, after he was up-to-date that the door had started to vibrate. This is specified in one of the historical documents of King Abdul-Aziz’s propagation house.

The Last Door of KAABAH by King Khalid:

The current door was well-arranged by King Khalid bin Abdul Aziz to be made of gold by jeweler Ahmed bin Ibrahim Badr. The amount of gold used in the doors is about 280 kg with a worth of 99.99. Its total budget was 13 million 420 thousand Saudi riyals, without the gold. Nowadays december Umrah packages 2023 Manchester, are available, and Muslims should avail this opportunity to visit Kaabah.
